Dodd & Dodd Attorneys, PLLC focuses primarily on family law (including divorce, child custody, visitation and parenting time issues, and support, and adoptions); estate planning (including will contests); bankruptcy; personal injury; and corporate and business litigation for clients in Kentucky and Indiana. The family law practice encompasses divorce, custody, support, surrogacy and adoption issues. Special personal counseling and advice is given to each client, in order to help him or her carefully make the decisions effecting his or her life changes. Members of Dodd & Dodd Attorneys, PLLC have served as chair of the Family Law Section for the Kentucky Bar Association and have presented seminars on a wide range of family law topics.

The estate plan includes a thorough evaluation of wills, trusts, sales of businesses, creditor, and family protection. Specific items we prepare in regards to estate planning include: Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Surrogates / Living Will Directives, Prenuptial Agreements, Estate, Gift and Inheritance Tax Returns, Fiduciary Income Tax Returns, and Generation-Skipping Tax Returns. Upon request, we review Estate plans to provide for changes in Tax Law, Family Relationships and Business Developments. Allen McKee Dodd holds a LL.M. in Tax from Washington University.

We have organized Private Foundations and charitable trusts for clients wishing to make a significant impact on his or her community or to reduce tax liability.

Personal injury clients are served mainly on a contingency basis. Dodd & Dodd serves clients in the areas of auto accidents, discrimination, sexual harassment, will contests, nursing home neglect, and slip and fall cases.
